easy afternoon
Another day after school, Friday to be exact which was even better because there was no school tomorrow which made Aoi smile to herself. No crap to have to put up with from the other kids, no more homework, well she had some homework but not loads which was a plus or so she thought. Her brother was doing whatever it was he did on a Friday afternoon and her sister had gone back to her grandfather’s store to help him out and while Aoi had dropped her sister off to the shop Aoi had helped yesterday so her grandfather told her to go have some fun which is what she was attempting to do.
Aoi happily left her grandfather and sister to have their own little fun as she wandered around sticking to the paths, even the public gave her strange looks at times, her pale skin was noticeable just by her face alone though she wore her sunglasses to help hide her red eyes, sure she sometimes wore contacts to change the colour but she didn’t feel like she should hide who she was and yet part of her wanted to. There was a part of her that wanted to hide from the world but that wouldn’t do anyone any good.
Instead Aoi headed for her favourite sweet store in town, she could do with a nice cup of cocoa and a cupcake or cookie, it always made her day and while part of her craved chilli she would probably make a chilli soup for tonight for the family. Of course as she walked along the street bumped into someone not seeing them as she’d been looking across the street instead of paying attention to where she was going “Oh I do apologise” she added stopping to make sure the person was ok whoever they were.

Sakura stumbled back a bit. The large sack of groceries crashing from her hands. A large gasp escaping her her mouth as she watched the large mess on the street. Her school uniform was splattered with a green liquid and pickles lay on the ground around her feet. Just her luck to lose all of the items she had just paid for at the store when she was a block from her house.
Quietly Sakura kneeled down to the ground and started to pick up what wasn't too badly damages. Irritation shimmering in her eyes as she did so. The Sohma teen was not having a good day at all. She had homework to do over her weekend, got her butt kicked at her martial arts class, and now she didn't have half the supplies she needed to make dinner which would call for a trip back to the store later on.
"You should watch where your going." Her tone was sharp and full of agitation. Reflecting the emotions that were currently controling her now. Why it was so difficult for a person to watch where they were going was beyond her. Still it did not change the fact that she now stuck cleaning up a mess on the street.

easy afternoon
Aoi couldn’t help but be a little angry at the girl’s sharp tone, she’d said sorry and the girl could have walked around or dodged her instead of running into her also. But Aoi did not speak such things she simply kept her mean thoughts to herself and sighed a little. “I can pay for the items to get replaced if you like?” she offered quietly, it meant she wouldn’t have any money for the weekend but she could live with that she just wouldn’t go to the movie she was planning on seeing which was ok she was sure it would still be out next weekend… so she hoped.
She knelt down before the girl and picked up some things, of course she had not meant to knock into anyone, people tended to move around her like she was a disease as it was so the fact she had knocked into someone had surprised her. She’d been so caught up in her own little thoughts and what was going on across the street she had not been paying attention like she should have been doing in the first place. She was just in her own world enjoying it there rather than the reality before her. “I really am sorry normally I’m more focussed at hand than I had been lately” she said shaking her head a little and handed the stuff she’d picked up towards the girl “I can even wash your outfit if you like” she suggested to the girl, her house was not far but she had not realised until now the girl seemed to go to the same school she went to but she did not recall seeing her before, maybe she was in the grade below her or something.

Sakura just nodded her head softly at the girl. She could see now that she was really apologetic for what happened. A soft sigh left the teen's mouth as she worked to pick up the few remains of food from the ground. She would need to return to the store later on and go buy the supplies again. If she hadn't promised her brother that she would make him curry then she wouldn't even be in this mess honestly. Still she didn't need to worry about that anymore. She made a promise and intended to keep it.
She listened quietly to the girl as she offered to pay for the food and buy her a new outfit. Which really wasn't necessary to be honest. Sakura came from a rather wealthy family. Her father was a medical doctor who ran his own practice and had many ventures on the side, he was amazing with money. If only Sakura had inherited that gift from him, then maybe she wouldn't need to worry so much about financial stuff. "No it's fine miss. I'm sorry I spoke so rudely to you." Her words were rather soft and gentle. She was very outspoken to say the least, but Sakura had her mind in other places today it seemed.
