»»Overall Appearance: Setsuko has a well-rounded appearance. Her measurements are average. Her height and weight are average. She doesn't do too much to go and stick out in the crowd. What sets her apart the most is her natural white hair. While she does have a wide range of outfits, Setsuko tries to dress in casual dresses. On occasion, she can be seen wearing pants and a button down shirt.

As far as accessories are concerned, she generally wears the bare minimum. There is a gold choker that lies around her neck which is always on, even if a scarf is covering it. She believes that it brings a balance to her body. The other form of accessory that she is always wearing is ribbons in her hair. Setsuko's hair always falls in long pigtails. Most of the time, she wears black ribbons, but has been known to change it up from time to time.

Setsuko likes to keep her body a clean slate. Aside from a strange birthmark on her lower back, she is known not to have any blemishes, tattoos, or piercings.

»»Personality: Organization and balance are the two things that make up a great deal of Setsuko's personality. As much as she tries to hide it around groups of people, she tends to be a bit of a neat freak and will often straighten items that are out of place. She is active and adventurous and loves anything that sparks her creativity and imagination. Setsuko is always more than willing to solve any problem that is thrown her way with as little repercussions possible. She tries her best to avoid conflicts with other people, even at the cost of her own feelings and emotions unless things tend to get out of hand.

While she may have settled down as a teacher, Setsuko has her own burning desire to go out and live her life to the fullest. That shouldn't be too hard for somebody that loves the company of others. Even then, she is full of her own mysteries and people tend to be drawn to her from time to time. On the down side: she can be highly critical and is often afraid of plenty of things.

»»History: It was never easy growing up without a mother. Setsuko's mother had died during childbirth, or so they say. Her father didn't like talking about it. Nobody else from her mother's family knew anything. Setsuko was distanced from anybody from the outside world. Her world was the Xing. But even then, that was if she were allowed outside of the house. Longwei had known of the transformation that his daughter could have. He sought to protect it as well as he could in her youth. And Setsuko could be seen doing the same. As she grew older, she grew more independent. Slowly, even her father begun to distance himself from her.

Setsuko never saw herself as a true Xing. When she was young, she had hoped that by changing her last name to her father's she would be able to escape from the curse that controlled her life. She ran away from it and the Xing name, but there was no escaping. They never lost track of her, no matter how far she had gotten from the rest of them. The curse had never left her body.

Now, as the family is back in Japan, she has taken up the job as a teacher at a local school. She had heard rumors of the Sohma and the young girl who they thought could break the curse. As a teacher, she would be able to see this all first hand. Just what was it that drew the Sohma, and even herself, to this girl?
