Hello everyone! I figured it would be a good idea to ask all of the people on the site an important question:

What can we do for you?

Now as a new site we have come a long way it seems. We have an amazing look, incredible staff, and awesome members. However, like every site we also have a large amount of things that can be better and that we need to improve on. So here is a thread that will allow you to say what you think needs to be fixed, or added.

Also, we would love to know what we could do to make the site more personal for its members. We have all confronted sites that look too offical to feel comfortable in. Right now that seems to be the look of Riceball as well. So if there is anything that you can think of to spice up the site and make it more personal. Feel free to let us know!

Hey there! ‘o’

I had a suggestion that may sound weird or it may not sound weird. It’ll depend on your feelings towards the subject. I think it would make it interesting as well as probably draw in new members and more original character’s as well if you tried to introduce a second family with a slightly different curse. I was actually part of a site about four years ago that was similar to this idea but different.

The site that I had been a part of had a focus of the new family and had the original character’s but it had taken place after the fact that the Sohma curse was broken. I can link to the site as well if you guys are interested. It was a really good plot that sucked me in from reading on it. I was really sad when it died out over the years T^T

For this site though, my suggestion would be to in cooperate those ideas, except instead have the two cursed families interact with one another while both families are cursed. I think it would help get more people involved with making originals without the Sohma name so that not every new member would have the same last name if that makes sense.

This was basically the plot to do with the other family and their story. I found it pretty interesting!

Once there were nine animals each numbered by their tail representing their strength. They fought each other over territory making huge earthquakes, storms, tidal waves and eruption. Everyone was afraid of them and went into hiding, this was one of the dark ages of the human race. One day a man and a woman was able to seal them into their body except for two, Kyuubi and Hachimata. Those two fought each other and soon Kyuubi won but it was weakened. The two were able to seal the fox but couldn't find the snake that escaped. As it slither away it went underground seeing the devil. The devil offered it a stolen artifact of the god that will make it god itself. Being greedy it took it and soon became one of the strongest biju. The gods noticed this and soon fought against it but the snake engulfed the god. The man and the woman soon found it and sealed the monstrous snake. Angry and wanting revenge the snake cursed the two by having them killed after they gave birth and cursing nine of the family by using the power of the other eight biju.

The Kaiju family are the ones who have the unlucky fate of being cursed. Only eight of the members of the family are cursed though and each and everyone one of them have their own conditions. Even worse is that the spirits constantly tries to take over their mind making it harder to live with the curse. The head of the family, in order to show people that they are different, built a cage for the Isonade. The reason why is because of the lust for blood, making them look like monsters. Fearful, they obeyed the head who is also cursed by one of the spirits. In this case, it's the head of the family.

One day a girl found the estate and saw them transformed because the Isonade was lusting for blood. The head, interested in how the girl did not shun him decided to play a game. By the end of the year, if the Isonade could get the girl into the cage by her own will, then the shark will be saved from it. The girl however will be stuck in the cage. The girl can not know anything about this little 'game' from the shark and the shark can't mention it to anyone. If it does, then it will be stuck in the cage when head finds out. Will the shark be able to be free from the cage? Will it be able to tell the girl to go into the cage for it or will it protect her and try to dissuade her from the cage?

And this is how they had organized their family curses:


Kaiju Family Cursed Members:


Shukaku -->

A one-tailed raccoon, the one that is most envied due to the fact that it could pass as a normal animal, unlike all the other Kaijuus', who have more than one tail. Transforms when it is feeling confident.



Nekotoma -->

A two-tailed cat, the person whom is possessed by this spirit has great balance and flexibility, and may also have incredibly climbing abilities and a natural fondness for heights. Transforms when it is angry.



Isonade{Must be a boy character}-->

A shark with three tails and three fins. Like most sharks, this person is attracted to blood and is a very great swimmer; naturally, because of its strong smell and instinct for bloodlust, it isn't a very wisecrack idea to come near the person at any time. Suppose to go into a cage,with the god's threatening commands, anyone that is a Kaijuu who comes near this cursed, bloody beast, will also be sent to a cage. Transforms when it is lusting for blood.


Soukou -->

A bird but unlike the others who have four tails, it has four wings.This is stated to be the most graceful biju of the list as it is small and the bird is very majestic.The person is a great artist and can listen to people really well. Very mature for its age, it can understand people very easily.Although like the rest of the curse, it has a fear for Hachimata although part of it is curious about it.Transforms when it is overwhelmed with disappointment.



Houkou-->

A five-tailed dog and is one of the most athletic curse members. Like any dog, anyone who is cursed by the "houkou" have dog instincts of fetching items and perhaps may be considered to be the most loyal among members.Transforms whenever it is around someone that it has a crush on.



Raijuu -->
*the "eraser"

A six-tailed weasel that is good with electronics. This person knows how to get people to work for him/her through trickery; basically, a master manipulator and able to toy with people's minds. The person is also known to be the "eraser". Transforms when it is feeling eager.


Kaku -->

A seven-tailed badger who is very wise. This person can get information out of anyone pretty much easily and is one of the closest people to the god because of that. Transforms when the person is surprised.


Hachimata -->

An eight-tailed snake that almost looks like a hydra. It has eight heads and eight tails along with crimson red eyes. This person is otherwise known as "god"; and is good at using swords and can sometimes be seen talking to snakes. Transforms when it is being defied or denied.



Kyuubi -->

A nine-tailed fox which is the one closest to god because of the original power that the original beast possess. Although strong, this person has a weak spirit and is afraid of the god, always looking an easy way out to escape the world. Transforms when it is feeling a great amount of fear.


I’m not sure if that’s do-able or not. But I think it’d be a cute idea to throw into the mix if you wanted to add a bit more conflict into the role play. I think it’d be interesting to see some of the original zodiac member’s interact with another family that is cursed and it would be interesting also to see the two God’s of the families clash at points too if they met! Things can be changed such as the family names or whatnot, but yeah~! I thought this would be a cool suggestion to bring up even if it may seem a bit crazy and out there~! Anyways, let me know what you guys think about it~!

Hmm...that is a very intresting idea Flame! I will talk it over with the staff to get their take on it. Who knows it might spice up the plot quite a bit^^
